There is always the tendency to want to make both strokes of the long roll. Try and let the second stroke bounce as a result of dropping the first stroke. It takes practice to get the double stroke roll even in fast. See the information at the end of this lesson for further studies. For now, we are only interested in playing the double stroke roll slowly.
