Ralph, Joe and Don will demonstrate how to properly engage and utilize your wrist while you drum.  The wrist can move in several ways, but the wrist turn is the most efficient way to use it while playing drums.

About the Artist

Ralph Humphrey
Ralph is one of the most sought after studio musicians and educators in the world. As an educator, he is the Drum Department Chair at the Los Angeles College of Music. Ralph also conducts clinics and master classes, including, The PASIC convention In 2015. He is the author of the drum book Even in the Odds and contributes occasional articles to Modern Drummer Magazine. His earlier work with the Don Ellis big band and Frank Zappa, among others, has given him the knowledge and expertise to speak, teach and write on the subject of rhythm and its application in modern drumming. Ralph maintains a very active career in the recording industry, playing for a variety of motion picture, TV and record projects. Productions include the hit show American Idol(2002-2004), The Emmys(2002-2004), Dancing with the Stars, The Simpsons, and many more.
